When I’m bad, I’m so bad and when I am good, what can I say? I guess I’m still a little wicked. I\u00a0do realize that\u00a0I have left you\u00a0\u00a0wandering\u00a0 out in the mist of blogger land\u00a0and I greatly appreciate you staying with me. After my extreme stunt of\u00a0jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet to fall roughly 120 mph with\u00a0a giant of a man strapped to my back, I can only begin to\u00a0tell you that i was beyond grateful that my parachute opened without a single glitch.\u00a0The very next day, my husband and\u00a0I loaded up our car and headed to our cabin. It was there,\u00a0nestled\u00a0 amongst the mountains\u00a0,where I spent the entire summer\u00a0cooperating and swearing to never let my children\u00a0talk me into anything like that again.\u00a0So after such a huge response\u00a0and unbecoming begging from all of you,\u00a0I am back and do\u00a0solomnly swear, I will\u00a0whole hartly\u00a0strive to keep up\u00a0on\u00a0all my\u00a0blogs!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Now that is enough on that subject and lets get down to the good stuff, shall we?\u00a0I would like to give a huge shout out to the Southern Independant Book Association. This years\u00a0event\u00a0 was held in Daytona Beach, Florida and was down right fun!\u00a0There is nothing like Southern Hospitality, believe me I know because I live in the south and yes, my daughters name is Scarlett. ( You can’t get more Southern then that) With the\u00a0new release of my Hard Cover I was asked to\u00a0come and sign and\u00a0meet all of the\u00a0 wonderful Independent book store owners. With the help of my\u00a0assistant,\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0autographed and\u00a0quickly gave out 150 books.\u00a0I can’t even begin to tell\u00a0you how much fun these people are!\u00a0I happily\u00a0accepted several invitations to visit their stores and sign for their customers.\u00a0One owner\u00a0had even sweeten the\u00a0pot, by offering to teach me\u00a0\u00a0belly dancing . ( Seriously how could I pass that up, I am so there!) Tomorrow I fly out and head to Michigan\u00a0where I will be signing and meeting with the Great\u00a0Lakes Independent Association. I can only hope that I have as much fun with these small store owners\u00a0as I did with the Southern.\u00a0I am sure I will have some stories to tell after this trip.
