Where does the time fly? Is it possible that we have traded\u00a0in the\u00a0candy\u00a0that filled\u00a0our pails\u00a0\u00a0for turkey on our plates? Life for me\u00a0is a whirlwind as I have been\u00a0on tour and signing copies of my hard cover\u00a0Once Wicked Always Dead. I really need to give a shout out to all the wonderful book stores who have so graciously allowed me to come in and spend time with them and all my readers.\u00a0For me there is nothing better then\u00a0surrounding myself around books, people and\u00a0cafe’\u00a0moca’s! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I would now like to touch on a more serious nature.<\/p>\n
After watching the news last night (Anyone who\u00a0knows me\u00a0understands\u00a0that I am a huge news junkie!) I saw something very disturbing, and yes, I feel the need to touch on this subject! Apparently there is an Author\u00a0 (I don’t even want to put Author as a title to this\u00a0mentally, problematic\u00a0person) but he wrote\u00a0\u00a0a how to for Pedophiles. He\u00a0was able to\u00a0e-pub the\u00a0trash and\u00a0Amazon offered it for sale on their site. After much protest Amazon\u00a0removed it\u00a0 and\u00a0the Author was interviewed by reporters. I watched those interviews and believe me when\u00a0I tell you,\u00a0 the man\u00a0is definitely out to lunch\u00a0 and a\u00a0danger not only to\u00a0children but to society!<\/p>\n
The big debate has been freedom of speech.\u00a0As an Author, I am all for freedom of speech\u00a0but\u00a0as human beings we also need to be held responsible for our\u00a0actions. The\u00a0actions taken by this man are harmful,\u00a0 not only\u00a0for what he has written, but also in his belief that it’s ok to take the innocence from\u00a0our youth and put so many children\u00a0in serious jepordy\u00a0but also help in furthering\u00a0breaking down\u00a0the moral fibers in our country. He is telling very troubled, individuals that their own perverse desires,\u00a0should be act upon without\u00a0any consequences or concern for\u00a0the detrimental damage it would cause to our children!\u00a0<\/p>\n
In this particular case, freedom of speech\u00a0should be thrown out the window! If the government wishes to control and make decisions over what we feed our children or\u00a0eliminate toys in Happy Meals, why don’t they do something about this! Come on people, have we\u00a0have gone so far\u00a0over the spectrum that we have lost all common sense?\u00a0\u00a0So I would like to say to\u00a0Mr so called Author, don’t be surprise if you receive your free\u00a0copy of Once Wicked Always\u00a0Dead, I think Leeza would like to meet you.\u00a0\u00a0You seem to be just what she is ridding the world of!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
