Since the\u00a0September\u00a0release of my Hard Cover “Once Wicked Always Dead” I have been on tour signing every Friday-Sunday at all the various book establishments across the country. Meeting and talking with the readers is one of my favorite parts of being an author.\u00a0I am also on a deadline to finish my next Novel, so the rest of the week you will find me\u00a0 hidden away in my writing room where I am working diligently to finish.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ok, that last statement is a lie… Yes, I should be working on finishing this and of course I will\u00a0eventually finish it and it will be fabulous, but with all of the\u00a0modern day Internet distractions\u00a0I\u00a0 continually become preoccupied… Man I really could use a coffee…. I need to make a Starbucks run, I’ll be right back…..<\/p>\n
I’m back, \u00a0sorry about that.,\u00a0\u00a0but\u00a0right\u00a0next door to\u00a0Starbucks was a Stein Mart and I thought; Well why I am here, I\u00a0might as well\u00a0run over and get a pair of those tennis shoes that I\u00a0have heard so much about.\u00a0They are\u00a0suppose to work\u00a0my butt off \u00a0just by wearing them. (I’ll let you know how that is working out\u00a0at a later date.) Sorry, I\u00a0\u00a0got a little distracted. Anyways where was I? Oh\u00a0yes, distractions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This\u00a0is exactly the type\u00a0of thing\u00a0which I am\u00a0talking about. There are so many distractions in the world that sometimes it’s hard to focus upon the topic at hand; which for me just\u00a0\u00a0happens to be finishing this book! So to all of you out there\u00a0 who\u00a0wish to be Authors and \u00a0approach me\u00a0saying;<\/p>\n
“I have this great\u00a0Idea for this book.”<\/p>\n
\u00a0I respond to you;\u00a0“Have you finished it?”<\/p>\n
Your response being;\u00a0\u00a0“Well no, but it’s really good.”<\/p>\n
My Advice to you is; “Don’t do as I do, do as I say and\u00a0finish it already!”<\/p>\n
